Call in and reserve your spot for glow-in-the-dark painting\, see what you can create under the magical glowing lights!  \nWe’ll show how to paint this design across two matching canvases\, but you’re free to paint whatever you like and create your own glowing masterpiece. You can take the paintings home the same evening or we can store them for you in the studio for up to one week. They will not be kept after one week\, sorry. \nCall now to reserve to secure your spot\, $80 plus tax for two\, non-refundable payment due when booking.  \nLast booking time is 8 pm. The bookings can start on the hour or 30 minutes after the hour\, so 5 pm\, 5:30 pm\, 6 pm\, 6:30 pm etc. until 8 pm. \nThe event starts at 5 pm with up to four simultaneous bookings in our party room. Pizza will be served during a short break. \nKids will create two projects while chatting about their favourite moments from the movie. \nThey’ll use glass powder to make light catchers based on the character Derpy (cat / tiger design). These will be fired in our kiln so the glass fuses together and will be ready for pick up one week after the event. \nThey will also create a glow in the dark painting by tracing their hands and designing their own Demon Marks with glowing patterns. Kids can follow the step by step demo or create their own design under the glow lights. \nEach child will receive two slices of pizza\, cheese or pepperoni\, and a juice box. DESCRIPTION:Come and build your own display bowl with your family or friends’ hand shapes! Three participants welcome per bowl. \nTrace the handprints of your family members in advance and bring them to the workshop to turn them into clayprints.  You arrange the clayprint inside a bowl (bring your favourite bowl or use ours) and attach them together.  \nAfter firing you can bring the family in and you can all paint it together\, the price of painting is included in the cost! \nThe bowl will be ready to paint two weeks after the event\, painting can be done as a walk-in activity afterwards.  \nThis workshop is open to all ages. One kilo of clay is provided which is enough for two adult hands and two smaller hands. Additional clay is available at $20 per kilo.

SUMMARY:Teens Wheel Throwing Intensive Camp - July 2026
DESCRIPTION:July 6th – 10th | 9:00am – 12:30pm | Ages 10-16 | $300 per kid \nIn this 5-day camp\, teens will take a deep dive into the world of ceramics and wheel throwing. We’ll learn through hands on lessons\, starting with the fundamentals of centering\, opening\, pulling and shaping with different skill-building lessons and challenges each day. In the final two days of camp\, the participants will create finished pieces to be fired in our kiln. \nNo experience needed\, but this class is limited to ages 10 and upwards as real wheel throwing requires some upper body strength and ability to work with the hands. The other summer camps also do wheel throwing but in a more child friendly way. \nEach day will have 90 minutes of wheel throwing\, 30 minutes snack break and 90 minutes with a different creative activity\, including clay handbuilding\, glow in the dark\, slime making and more. \nMonday: Wheel throwing fundamentals: centering\, opening\, pulling and shaping \nTuesday: Wheel throwing fundamentals \nWednesday: Wheel throwing: cylinders and more \nThursday & Friday: Wheel throwing: cylinders and more. Independent projects with help from staff \nCampers can choose up to three projects to be fired in our kiln. Items will be ready for painting 1 week after the camp. In this 5-day camp\, kids will explore the origins of different mythical creatures while creating their own enchanted artworks and building storytelling skills through hands-on projects. \n6-14 year olds accepted\, 5 year olds accepted with an older sibling. \nThe details about the daily activities and actual projects will be finalized in the coming months. This is a tentative plan but each day will have a different activity. \nMonday: Clay sculpting \nTuesday: Pottery painting \nWednesday: Canvas painting \nThursday: Glass Fusing \nFriday: Glow-in-the-dark painting & Wheel throwing \nAll camp activities are customizable! Kids may follow the optional step-by-step tutorials or explore their own ideas freely. We provide all materials and encourage creativity! \nPlease pack a nut-free snack for the 30 minute snack break
