These terms apply when you use this website and when you book or buy from Crafty Pots online. Please read them before you book. By using the website or making a booking, you agree to them.

“We”, “us” and “our” mean Crafty Pots. “You” means the person using the website or making a booking.

Bookings and orders

To book or buy online you must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement. You can book for children in your care.

When you book, we ask for your name, email, phone number and payment details. You confirm that the information is correct and that you may use the payment method. We share payment details only with our payment processor, to complete the payment. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

Each activity has its own cancellation and rescheduling policy. You find it on the activity’s page and in your booking confirmation: wheel workshops and camps on the Classes and events page, parties on the Parties page. The policy shown when you book is the one that applies to that booking.

If we have to cancel a booking ourselves, for example because of a power outage, we offer you a new date, store credit or a refund.

When we may refuse or cancel a booking

We may refuse or cancel a booking or an order when the spot or the item is no longer available, when there is an error in the price or the description, or when we suspect fraud or a payment that is not authorised. If we cancel, we refund what you paid.

Prices and information

We keep the prices and details on this website up to date, but they can contain errors and can change without notice. Prices are in Canadian dollars and plus tax unless we say otherwise. The price shown when you book is the price you pay for that booking.

Payments

Online payments are one-time payments by the methods shown at checkout. Your card issuer must approve the payment. Without that approval we cannot confirm the booking.

Your pieces

We fire every piece with care, but no kiln can guarantee that a piece survives the firing. We keep finished pieces for at least 30 days after we call you, and we call at least twice before a piece is disposed of. We cannot compensate for pieces that broke in the kiln or that were not picked up.

Links to other websites

This website links to other websites and services, such as our payment provider and social media. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read their own terms and privacy policies.

Limits of our responsibility

We provide this website as it is. We do our best to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise that it is always available, free of errors or free of harmful code.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by using the website or by not being able to use it. If we are found responsible, our responsibility is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $150. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Ontario’s consumer protection law.

Disagreements and the law

If you have a concern, please contact us first by email or phone and we will try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is important, we post it here at least 30 days before it takes effect. The terms in force when you book apply to that booking.
