Shark Week Art Camp July 2024

Five days from 9 am to 12 pm with fun and different activities, play games and make new friend. Guided projects are offered, but the campers are always welcome do their own designs.
Warm up: 9:00-9:30 | Art Time: 9:30-10:30 | Snack time: 10:30-11:00 | touch ups: 11:00-12:00
Please bring your own nut free snack
Monday: Clay sculpting – Suggested project is a box from clay so we can mount a painted shark on top after baking .
Tuesday: Pottery painting – anything you like in the studio priced up to $40 at no charge. Painted ceramics will be ready for pickup on Friday.
Wednesday: Canvas painting – Several ocean or shark themed designs available, or paint your own.
Thursday and Friday: Glow in the dark painting and Wheel Throwing. Each day, half the group will paint a glow in the dark beach or shark scene or anything else they like, and the other half will learn to make a bowl on the pottery wheels. The bowl will be ready for pickup or painting a few weeks later (a $15 charge applies to paint the bowl when it’s ready).
Campers that show any symptoms of illness will be asked to go home.
If your child has come into contact with anyone displaying symptoms we request they stay home.
